 Mixed feelings on this robe Jun 21, 2010
The good - the robe is light with 3/4 sleeves, very comfy. Like that the belt is attached. I purchased the M/L size and wore comfortably over the Aimee pajamas in a size large. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to inspect the robe closely before I had to pack it for the hospital the next day for an unexpected early arrival! The hem on the bottom of the robe is not stitched together and is now raveling. I called customer service almost a week ago and left a message, no return call yet. I expected better quality for the price.

 Don't be fooled by the pic! May 14, 2009
This robe is not at all what it appears to be in the picture. The picture makes it look very soft and cozy, but it is actually quite stiff, even after multiple washings. I was looking for a soft, lightweight robe that I could wear year-round, and was very disappointed with what I received. Also, the robe is much shorter than it looks, falling just below the knee, and the sleeves are extremely wide, and too short. I am 5'6", so I expected it to fit better. I ended up ordering another one from Land's End that I like much better. It was $10 cheaper, and much softer. In addition, it is available in more colors.
The last thing I will add is that I was disappointed with my entire experience with Aimee Gowns. The customer service was awful. My robe was lost in the mail for nearly two weeks, and I had to contact FedEx over and over again myself, because the Aimee people did not care whether or not I received my order. Normally, when something goes wrong with a shipment, the seller deals with it.

After I received and tried the robe on, I cannot agree more with Jaimerika. There is nothing special about it. It looks like a $15-20, not a $50 dollar robe. I bought it to wear at the hospital after I deliver my baby. Now I do not even know if I would be able to wear it at home in front of my husband. I will be looking for another robe.

I ordered this robe together with gown for a pregnant friend of mine. i was little scared if i matched the sizes and if it was gonna be that soft as it looked like. and you know what? my friend including her husband me and me, we all got amazed of the perfect fit, really soft fabric and great colors! the delivery took little longer than other items but it came right before Xmas so you can be happy you made not only my day:)

I am a robe person.. i love this robe,, i also have 2 of the nightgowns.. i love that this robe is the same material as the gown. is not overly heavy.. it is lightweight enough to be able to wear it year round.. love the colors also.. thanks
